Change Is Inevitable
Life is constantly changing.
At times we may feel like we are floating peacefully, only to suddenly find ourselves rushing through unexpected rapids. Other times, we recognize the need for change but struggle to leave the comfort of what is familiar.
Yet change is unavoidable.
The question is not whether change will come—but how we will respond to it.
Recently, my husband and I have been experiencing a season of major transition as we prepare to leave the home where we raised our daughters. Packing boxes and letting go of memories has stirred deep emotions for all of us.
Moments like these remind us how much our choices affect the people we love.
But even in seasons of uncertainty, one truth remains steady:
God never changes.
Scripture reminds us of this promise:
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change.” (Psalm 46:1–2)
When life shifts around us, we can lean into the One who remains constant. His promises never fail, and His guidance never wavers.
So as change unfolds, listen carefully for the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Ask God for wisdom.
Trust His direction.
And remember that even in life’s most uncertain moments, He is still your refuge and strength.
