VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
It’s Time to Stand in the Gap

It is easy to become distracted.

We move through our days working, running errands, checking off to-do lists, and managing responsibilities. Yet beyond our routines, there is a deeper reality unfolding — one that calls for awareness and action.

Scripture reminds us that God looks for those willing to stand in the gap. In Esther 4:14, Mordecai challenges Esther with these powerful words: “Perhaps you were made for such a time as this.”

There are moments in history when God lifts the veil and reveals where His children are hurting most. When we began learning about the devastating reality of child trafficking, we were overwhelmed. The statistics were staggering. The stories were heartbreaking. The enemy’s schemes were bold.
And yet, God was not wringing His hands.
He was calling His daughters to rise.

The enemy thrives on distraction and silence. But when believers become aware, prayerful, and united, strongholds begin to break. Standing in the gap means refusing to look away. It means interceding in prayer. It means allowing God to use our influence, resources, and voices for His purposes.

Throughout Scripture, God works through willing hearts. He positions ordinary people in extraordinary moments to bring light into darkness.

The question is not whether evil exists — it does.

The question is whether we will respond.
We were not created to remain silent when God is stirring our hearts. We were created to reflect His love, defend the vulnerable, and speak truth with courage.

Perhaps we were made for such a time as this.
