VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Come, Lord, Come
This morning, I went for a walk on God’s planet — and everything felt different.
I noticed the shape of the clouds.
The shade of blue in the sky.
The birds singing.
The vibrant colors of the flowers.
Creation still reflects His beauty.
And yet… violence rages.
Children are hurting.
Families are torn apart.
Wars continue for far too long.
Disease, devastation, and brokenness surround us.
Some say they hope life will “return to normal.”
But my heart yearns for something deeper — that life would be different.
Come, Lord, come.
Come into our hearts, our minds, and our ways.
Whisper into the ears of babes.
Shout into the hearts of Your people — Your creation made in Your image.
How are we truly reflecting You?
Holy Spirit, let Your wind of truth and change move swiftly.
Awaken us to the truth of our loving Savior — the truth that brings new life, risen from the ashes of the old.
Our days are numbered.
Let us become the people You created us to be.
Let us smile more.
Serve more.
Pray more.
Surrender more fully to Your Word, Your way, and Your purposes.
Help us take better care of ourselves — and each other.
Shape us into a kinder, more compassionate, more loving people, no matter where we are placed on this earth for a time.
You are the light — even when darkness presses in.
Bring Your Kingdom to earth, Father.
Ignite a revival never seen before.
Renew us. Restore us. Regenerate our hearts.
“The Lord is my shepherd… He leads me beside still waters” (Psalm 23:1–2, NIV).
We are here.
Waiting.
Praying.
Trusting.
We are Yours — now and forevermore.
