Don’t limit what God can do in your children by clutching them tightly to yourself and trying to parent them all alone. God wants our surrender. In all ages, at all stages look to Him for help!
Please don’t be ruled by fear. Fear causes you to control even heavier and harder. Surrender your control to God and allow Him full access to their lives. He’s their creator. Relinquishing your control to God’s hands is the ONLY way you allow action to happen. He will intervene where you can not.
How?
The way we do this is to live according to His Word and His ways and pray to Him about everything you see in your children that concern you, young or even older ones. Surrender what you see in them, feel with them and feel from them. Surrendering it all will open the hand of God to move freely beyond your abilities.
We can trust God to take care of our children and adult children even better than we can. If we can release our children into our Father’s hands daily and acknowledge that He is in control of their lives, not us, results happen. Watch what you see when you let go and allow God.
You will have a greater peace for one example. Trust me, I’m living this out right now. My peace surpasses all I can do myself. Do I still hurt, yes! Do I still get upset at times, yes! But the true inner peace that God gives NEVER LEAVES ME is comfort, pure comfort to my soul. It’s not easy, but the perfect peace is real my friends.
