EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
2 Timothy 2:22-24, “Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Don’t have anything to do with stupid and foolish arguments because you know they produce quarrels, and the Lord’s servant must not quarrel; instead, He must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Those who oppose Him, He must gently instruct in the hope that God will grant them repentance, leading them to a knowledge of truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.”
Having a relationship with God instills in you the conviction of His righteousness. Without that closeness to God, we are swayed by our own judgment and leave the door wide open for the adversary to play games with our minds. He waits eagerly to fill us with the things of this world: hatred, jealousy, pride, and self-righteousness. And above it all, he will distance you from the One who loves you the most.
The love and compassion of God will overrule all emotions that tip the scales of the relationship you can have with Him. It’s a choice that eliminates all confusion, puts you in the center of God’s will and drives the force that will release you from sin and into the Father’s arms.
The word of God is waiting to breathe life into that which has been dead. Please make the choice to live fully as you walk with the Lord, and He will guide you to the cleansing waters that will soothe your soul.
