As we get older, we tend to think we are supposedly having to “know all things and have them everything put together”. We are taught we should be strong enough to stand alone, stand on our own and stand through whatever we go through, right?
While we must mature and grow in wisdom, God also wants us to live with a carefree spirit and jump into His arms like a child running to their daddy. We need to understand He will catch us every time when we look to Him as our Father, loving and able! I’m seeing this more and more as I age in my personal “faithwalk” with Jesus.
We need to believe our God is dependable and remain in a “childlike ” state with anticipation of all His goodness to us.
When we were young, we had childlike wonder. Do you remember those days? I do! I love to ask God to fill me up with such “joy,” a joy like I had as a young child with innocence. But again and again, I’m reminded that I am able, through Christ, to be filled with that childlike faith and able to dream BIG with childlike wonder.
“Even as you grow old and your hair turns gray, I’ll keep carrying you”, God says!

Grasp these words. He has you near His heart, just like the moment you were conceived, dear woman. He has you! He loves you, and you are His masterpiece creation.
