EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.”(Proverbs 1:7)
There are many people who don’t like being told what to do. They are usually full of pride and live according to their own standards believing that their truth is superior and above God’s truth. It’s a sad epidemic, unfortunately.
God’s knowledge is powerful and holds much value for it is the truth that builds a solid foundation beneath us so that we don’t crumble when we face trials.
It’s His wisdom that carries us through the storm and enables us to pull our heads above the waters that try to drown us. Holding on to God’s wisdom gives us direction and when we use that wisdom along with the power of His knowledge and truth, we gain access to His heart and the understanding of His purpose for our lives.
When we know of God’s truth and knowledge it’s easy to store it and not do anything with it. It becomes wisdom and useful when we take the information we learn and apply it to our lives. We can therefore grow in it creating an opportunity for us to understand who God is.
James 1:5 “if any of us lack wisdom, let him ask God who generously to any who ask.
