What does leadership in Jesus and with Jesus mean to you?
A leader who lives by faith in Jesus Christ has an overarching purpose to their life. Their leadership position goes beyond communication, judgment and integrity. Christ-centered leadership is that which has as its highest aim to glorify God by guiding others to grow in faith and service to God. Show others God’s grace, mercy and love by being a living example of it.💕
A true leader is not only subject to Jesus Christ in mind, will, and body; a true leader serves Jesus Christ by serving his people. We press on to help others achieve their high calling in Christ Jesus.
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14)
Jesus Christ demonstrated servant leadership by washing His disciples’ feet, and it was typically the job of the lowest servant in a household. Even though Jesus was God in human form, He humbled Himself to serve His disciples. This act of service showed His humility and love for His followers.
In our leadership positions, we are all called to have a servant’s heart. Be humble and willing, and always show love when you are able. Be willing to give selflessly to help others in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
