EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
God will build you up when others drag you down, and God has much to share with you through His Word.
James 4:10: “Humble yourself before the Lord and he will lift you up.”
One of the most disheartening things we can feel is when someone betrays us, especially ones so very close to our hearts. Betrayal is brutal. There is no way to justify gossip, lies, slander, or hurtful division. It just stinks!
God will set things in order. He promises.
“All who rage against you will be ashamed and disgraced. All who contend with you will perish and disappear.” (Isaiah 41:11)
Please release the person or people who have wounded you so deeply. I understand it is not always easy to do, but please do not harbor bitterness or resentment toward the offending party. Forgive and release. Something has their soul shackled, please realize this! And imagine this… you could be the one who prays for them and asks God to set them free. I’ve watched how God moves through prayer and He definitely works miracles. If you think it, pray for it, then it can happen with God.
Ask God to build the POWER in you to release your pain and show them love and even forgiveness where it’s needed. I’m not asking you to do anything I haven’t done myself. I know your heart will feel better when you can do this from a place of obedience. It’s something we may have to repeat several times to really solidify what we are doing, but trust that it will be done, in Jesus’ name!
Freedom from such pain will not only set them free with your prayers, it will set you free! As tears roll down my face writing, I often times understand it’s because of a “word” that God gives to me- which hits so very close to home…and I can rejoice in the “freedom” it brings, praise God!
My heart is grateful for the truths I’ve learned over the years and how I can only be transparent as God leads. He gives me the hope of encouraging words to give you while I get to write and share what God has taught me.
