EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Psalm 56:3: “When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust, I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?”
When we fear, we get frightened of the outcome of what we don’t know. If we are not careful and turn our eyes from God, we can be subject to the attacks from this world. They can cause brutal harm to our minds and bodies.
There is one thing that can not be touched. It’s our soul. All material things come and go, and feelings can be hurt, but our bodies can start to deteriorate while relationships can change. The one thing that stays is our souls, for they are under the protection of God.
We take courage because we understand God can overcome all things and in our souls we can absorb the goodness of God, allowing it to change things we don’t understand. His truth and love become our main concern. God can come in when we allow Him full reign, and He can influence our feelings and all the decisions we make.
What is taken away from us on earth, God can give us back tenfold. Don’t worry about losing what you have or not have because God will provide.
Take courage and know that your path is set by a Father who wants nothing but good things for you. Fear not, for you are under God’s care, and what you leave in His hands will become so much more! Your fears and thoughts can be brought into captivity as you renew your mind in Christ. Everything will be alright, and God will hold you close until all fear is gone. Trust in God.
