EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
You are not alone in struggling to forgive. How do we react when someone hurts us? Does our resentment build? Do we experience frustration? Or anger? These are many obstacles we face while trying to forgive someone else-or even ourselves.
Forgiveness can be difficult, but God’s heart is toward Forgiveness. God longs for our hearts to be free from the bondage that unforgiveness can cause.
Holding on to hurt and pain can steal our time. It can also block our growth toward being all God has called us to be.
Unforgiveness is sin. And sin harms the sinner most of all. Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the emotional prison that unforgiveness traps us in.
Our gracious Lord holds onto us in our deepest pain.
Whatever you have gone through and however you have been hurt, know God has walked with you the whole way. He understands and cares about how you are feeling. He makes Forgiveness possible through His power and releasing all to Him.
Forgiveness is how a relationship with Jesus begins.
“But if you refuse to forgive others, your father will not forgive you.” (Matthew 6:15)
