EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Being held by someone who is filled with love feels very good. Many of us are alone and do not have another person to touch or hold them close in the way they need to be held.
We are told in scripture many times that we are “held” by God. How can this be? In the Bible it clearly tells us there is a peace that comes when we are assured we are in God’s hands as in Isaiah 41:13.
“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you.”
He is wise and He is loving and He holds us while being perfectly on time. He is not indifferent about the anxieties we carry. He cares. He’s going to take care of you.
He’s going to plan our life and guide us, we must only trust Him to do so. The guidance is informed by His love and planned in His wisdom, and timed in His sovereignty.
God does not comfort us from afar, but He helps us through showing us He is near. God is always close. He has YOU in His watchful eye.
He is near to the brokenhearted, He binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)
“Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close.”
(Psalm 27:10)
If you are feeling alone, ask God to touch you as only He can do. Open His Word, pray, and talk to Him about exactly what you feel, and then listen in the stillness to hear His voice whisper to you. You will feel His comfort. ❤️
