Can you recall a time you may have been frustrated with planning ahead and thinking it through your way, realizing it isn’t happening as quickly as it should?
Days often come at us with uncertainty and frustration sets in taking us off course possibly thwarting our plans and leaving us feeling debilitated. We can ask ourselves “why”???… but God. He already has a plan for you.
God says, “I know the plans I have for you; declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”(Jeremiah 29:11)
Seek God, listen to Him, obey Him, and follow His lead. His plans are far different than ours. If you begin with the first step of faith and ask Him to honor it, He will. Trust God with your obedience and walk in it.
The Holy Spirit is God’s guarantee to you that He will help you do what you need to do as you walk it out. He lives in you to speak, guide, and confirm things you need to do in order for the next steps to happen. He will move as you invite Him to move in your life.
God will bring to pass everything He promised. How do we know this? Because He is TRUTH. The enemy is a liar and therefore the two can not intertwine.
Every time you seek God, obey Him, pray, and listen for His voice. You are investing in your future and all the joy and hope and confidence you will have doing it with your Savior! It may not happen as quickly as you’d like with “your own plan,” but trust God, take the first step by faith, and watch God develop your dreams with you and watch His promises come alive. Hold the FAITH that He will deliver what He promised in His Word!
