Years ago, I went through a refining period in my life. God brought me through a painful yet necessary cleansing.
In my place of loneliness and delay, I learned obedience. The Lord taught me about purity of heart, kingdom motivation, and serving with excellence and a good attitude. It was there that I thrived. I learned to trust God in that place.
Are you in a place where it’s stretching you? Please “be still” and learn to thrive where you are with God. It may be here in this place that He wants you to stay for a period before you are elevated to the next place.
After a time, God released me from the place that I was. As I look back, I want to encourage you with this…”I would not trade that time for anything because it gave me the life I now live for Christ!”
Anything we go through in our lifetime that teaches us and grows us in Christ and then draws us closer to Himself is worth it all. God stretches us and grows us as He guides us through our lifetime.
