EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Young or old, don’t limit what God can do in your children by clutching them to yourself and trying to parent them all alone. In all ages and at all stages, look to God!
Looking at our children and us in the process of raising them, then letting them go and living without them… all have challenges.
Please don’t be ruled by fear. Surrender your control and “fear of releasing control” to God. Allow Him full access to their lives at whatever stage of the process you are in with them right now.
The way we do this is to live according to God’s Word and His ways and pray to Him about everything you see in your kids and feel about them and with them and what you sense from them. Give them to God, all of them. Some of us need to read this twice!
We can trust God to take care of our children and our adult children, too, even better than we can. Release your child into your Father’s hands and acknowledge that He is in control of their lives; we are not.
“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.” (Isaiah 54:13)
Pray them into God’s hands.
In full surrender to God, you will have a greater peace and a brighter outlook while sporting a happy face of relief.
It’s not easy to do, but give your trust and control over to God. He does bring peace to any situation, and He gives a true promise we can hold on to in Proverbs 22:6.❤
“Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old, they will not depart from it.”
Rest in God’s promises over your kiddos.
