EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
“What I faced has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. I have no peace, no quietness, I have no rest, but only turmoil.” (Job 3:25-26)
How many of us know and believe we are walking with God but have fear? Fear of failing health. Fear of losing everything. Fear we are being punished. Fear of…
Job felt he had no rest but only turmoil. He was overwhelmed with grief.
Ladies, if the thing you are fearing most comes upon you-praise God! If you are having fear at your front door knocking for you-praise God! We may listen to so many songs that tell us to “Praise Him in the storm,” but do we? In our times of fear, we need to praise His Holy Name. The Bible tells us so. At the name of Jesus, demons must flee.
Praising Him doesn’t mean we have to act as though nothing is happening; healthy grieving is important.
We must always recognize that no matter what is happening, things about God always remain true. It doesn’t matter what is happening around us. We can stand firm in God’s truths that He always has us in His watchful eye of care.
Let us bring our every fear to God. Thanking Him that He is greater than our fears because HE IS! When fear comes upon me, I say the name of Jesus many times out loud. I begin to praise His name this way.
God’s love takes away your fear. His love gives you POWER to stand. God’s love assures you He will be there to comfort you, yes, through it all, until you reach full restoration or His plan is fulfilled. This statement is perfect peace here and now.
Perfect love, God’s perfect love, casts out all of our fear.
“Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts. Whoever walks constantly afraid of punishment has not reached love’s perfection.” (1 John 4:18)
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
