EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Do you need more of God today? We all need more personal growth in learning about Him and how we are to live for Him. People struggle to determine which direction they should go on any given day. Do they do it alone, or do they ask for help?
Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, in the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
If we can not get to the Father but through Jesus, we must grow in Him to learn how to be kingdom builders. I know I need to ask Jesus daily for Him to guide me through my days and for Him to pour truth out to me in ways I can understand as I read His scriptures. He always does this for me because I ask!
He wants us to ask Him for these things that He provides. By leaning into God-seeking more of Him and growing in wisdom and knowledge as He disperses it to us, you will find your way navigating through your circumstances, overcoming your doubts, and making big decisions you are frightful about making. You’ll do it all because you are growing in Jesus. I can’t imagine “not” asking God for even the “littlest” things I deal with each day. I ask Him for everything now. Even if I lose something little on the floor, it’s crazy; I just ask, ask, ask. But some of my issues can get pretty huge. BUT, I’m so used to asking now for His help I feel assured He is there when I need it every time! (Especially when I ask at the start of each day, lol.)
Everything gets released into the hands of Jesus, and then…I begin my day. I know I’m covered that way. And as the day goes on, I still find myself conversing with God about things that creep in. Getting “more of God” gives me overwhelming peace.
Release your anxiety. The Bible says, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
Did Jesus quote that verse to be nice? NO! He desires for us to come to Him with EVERYTHING so He can help us!
God will equip you for anything you encounter. Please stay in touch with Him on a daily, even hourly, basis whenever you can! It helps.
