EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
If I had a hundred dollars for every time I hear someone say, “I’m a failure,”… I think that I would be extremely wealthy. I fell into that category, too, in past years…But God!
“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard” (Romans 3:23)
Nobody can live perfectly. After all, that is why Jesus came. We are all a work in progress, are we not? Unfortunately, we can fail in many different ways. We can fail in our personal life, our work life, or our ministry life, BUT GOD! For us, as Christian sisters, failure is not our problem anymore.
Remember, the power of sin is already defeated in Christ, no matter what happened. God forgives mistakes; God forgives sin. (Romans 8:38) Nothing can separate you from God. Failure is not the end goal for you; even the devil, who is a liar, knows that! Do not give him room to make you believe otherwise.
Do not allow failure from anything you’ve done that is forgiven and washed in the blood of Jesus to define you.
“Who decides whether people speak or do not speak…Is it not I, the Lord?” (Exodus 4:10)
God determines your life.
God is the One who designed you and defined you. God will allow you to succeed, or He won’t. It’s up to Him, but it’s also up to you because you are given a choice. He gives us a destiny that is not dictated by anything but His Word. You can pick yourself up by learning through scripture and then push beyond any failure that has happened.
God sees you in a state of perfection, not in condemnation. He is El Roi. He sees you in success, not failure. You are not a failure. Pick yourself up and press on.
