EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
I have a particular song that resounds in my head. I would play it over and over on the piano for many years. It was an older song from a while ago titled “Make Me a Servant.” It was from Patch the Pirate- Christian music for kids and sing-a-longs.
I would read the words over and over while I played the sheet music for our church. Simple yet so true. The words were imprinted in my head because of the repetition of playing it. I loved the tune and the words that went along with it so much. Thirty-five years later, these words echo whenever I hear about “being a servant and having a servant’s heart.”
I am God’s handiwork, and so are you! We are created for a purpose. We are to glorify God through our lives and through serving Him.
In service and spiritual worship, we need to dedicate our minds and bodies to God, our hearts to God, and our hands and feet to God. We need to be devoted and pleasing to Him in all we do.
Work hard in everything you do, minister to others, show kindness, and submit your time, talents, and energy to the work of the Lord.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16)
God will show His favor and blessing upon you in abundance. He’ll give you the strength to run. Thank Him for what He gives you continuously. Everything needs to be received with a grateful heart.
Be ready to be a Servant with a servant’s heart and fulfill God’s will and purpose in your life, and please, passionately go out into the world with your light and possessing a servant’s heart.
