EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
What if instead of always asking God to do something for us, we ask God to use us?
As an example, my prayers changed significantly, and my life followed suit when I began to pray this way, inquiring of God to use me as He wills and praying His will be done in my life.
We should always invite God’s presence, God’s power, and God’s peace into our lives, and we should ask Him for all of our needs, but we shouldn’t stop at that request and pray over all His will to be done in our lives.
Denying ourselves and asking God to use us will bring about “courageous faith.” If we tell God we are all His and ask to be used as He wills as His servants, God will move!
Our word this year for WWL is HOPE. By saying to God, “Here I am, send me,” it takes hope of God doing something we can’t do in our own strength, right? God uses us with His purpose and His plan for our life. How wonderful is that?
God never calls perfect people. He calls women just like you and me. He prompts us to live beyond ourselves, and then when we do, the blessings that rain down are beyond fulfilling, and you will see them with illuminated eyes.
God calls us for many reasons…
To go, to serve, to build, to love, to fight to pray, to give, to lead.
Many times we’ve asked you to pray about being used in a particular way in this ministry. We asked that you’d consider “A call to write your story.” If you’d like to do so, please pray and reach out to me.
Don’t be about your own comfort. If God has given you a story, yours may be the one to “change someone’s life” for God’s kingdom and glory, or it may inspire another to be hopeful in what God can do with your “yes.” Be courageous…ponder this thought and surrender to His bidding if you’re thinking about it in any way.
There is so much more that God can bless you with as you just trust Him and try but start with praying for Him to use you…
