Hi ladies!
My name is Kimberly Ann Hobbs and I am so humbled and honored to be able to serve my King alongside so many beautiful women who likewise share that mutual “passion.” Together our passion shows love and encouragement toward one another while empowering our sisters of faith into a life with a purpose. We strive for each one to desire to serve others while serving our wonderful God and Savior.
I felt a calling from God on my life for many years, but never felt worthy to step up and serve in that calling because of my past mistakes that continually haunted me in my mind. Unfortunately, I sat on my hopes and dreams of aspiring to become a leader because of my torments which enabled me to carry guilt. Many years passed by and I allowed the enemy to rob what God had for me by not walking in my calling as a confident woman of God and leader for His honor, glory and His Kingdom.
As life moved forward and I saw the results of a stagnant life without much purpose, God showed me my need to rely on Him more and not myself. It’s interesting how my relationship grew in Christ and His Word when the focus was no longer on me. My understanding of repentance and true forgiveness is what became the turning point for many areas in my life.
My desire to serve God became greater than the desire to please myself. One vivid day in my memory, back in 2010, God gave me a scripture verse that would soon become my life verse. It was a verse that would show me and anyone else “seeking” that God can do anything through anyone who is willing to be used by Him! Ephesians 3:20 has now become the verse of POWER for me and for Women World Leaders. It is our group verse.
“Now to him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly beyond what we could ever ask or imagine, according to the POWER that is at work within us. Ephesians 3:20.”
My life verse became my driving power to excel forward in 2010 and on. That driving power is the Holy Spirit. He is alive and at work within me. I could never accomplish any of this growth in my own strength. God has taken me from a broken and wounded woman to someone who is now free and alive in Jesus with a vision to reach the entire globe (WWL logo “pink” areas) for Him! Serving God is above and beyond the greatest joy I could ever ask for or imagine in this life.
Working within this beautiful group of women has become an inspiration to me as I see the lives of many precious ladies of all ages, colors and nationalities being changed, healed and redirected to serve our Lord and Savior.
Visualizing Women World Leaders into existence has truly been a walk of faith each day with God from the moment I started.
