We are emotional beings and God created us in His image to be so.
God gave us emotions so we could grow, mature, be fulfilled, and experience enjoyment. Our feelings were made to be our friends.
Often times I rely on my emotions and sometimes they get in the way, especially when they escalate out of control. Thankfully, and because of the wisdom God has given to me,  He quickly reigns me back in.
When we experience negative emotions, it is usually telling us something needs attention. Stop for a moment and understand there is a reason. Figure out the problem before it escalates out of control. Take constructive action toward it and you will see the emotion served its purpose at that moment.
Jesus displayed emotions. Think about how He compassionately healed the man with the shriveled hand. ( Mark 3:5) The Pharisees were zeroed in on the fact He healed on the Sabbath, breaking their laws. Jesus’ anger and sorrow over their action was totally appropriate reflecting our Father’s own heart. Wisdom from God directed Him in the moment.
Please ask God to give you wisdom over dealing with your emotions before the action occurs. He will help you with whatever it is.
“Let every person  be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger…” (James 1:19)

This month I had the ability to visit the mountains of Tennessee. I had the privilege to pray on the back balcony of Reinhard Bonnke’s log home where this “legacy of a Soul Winner”, famous evangelist and Author to millions and millions of people, prayed.
I was captivated by God’s splendor and beauty in the awe-inspiring view of His creation. I cried, I prayed. There was no hiding from the Spirit of God in that place. I was captivated with majestic inspiration through the vast ranges of earth’s top peaks and its low valleys.  The magnificent certainty of Who God is and what He created was before my eyes.
As for Reinhard Bonnke, he was a masterpiece creation himself, a worldwide evangelist, Author, and tremendous stature of faith. Knowing a man of God who directed millions to the cross of Christ through his worldwide dedicated calling had shared time with God there, right in that place of space. ( He passed a little over a year ago)
It just brought me into a stillness I can hardly describe. A moment in time that stood still for me. The photo below is where I sat at his home.
“Where can I go from Your Spirit?… if I go to the heavens, You are there. If I make my bed in the depths, You are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast.” (Psalm 139:7-10)
There is something about a place of peace that brings about being raw and honest and also vulnerable and it sets the table for the Spirit of God to move in a powerful way.
Alone in the quietness of that mountain, I prayed. It will never leave my heart.❤
Could you find a place that brings peace to your Spirit and just sit and rest there for a bit? I encourage you to try. See what God speaks in that moment of stillness.

We are all human, we all feel pain and emotions. Many times we can get numb to our pain, feeling that God doesn’t hear us.
God is not daunted by our darkness. Admitting our issue to Him is the first step. Voice your need to God. Say it, speak it, feel it in your prayer to Him.
God’s presence in your life can be so vibrant and so loving but we are sometimes frozen in our fears or our pain that we need our senses back. We need God’s heart to revive us. There is an old hymn that as a child, I can remember wondering the meaning of it? It’s called “Revive us again” 🎶🎵.  Now as an adult and Christ-follower, I can clearly understand the meaning. I can see that we need God to revive us when we go numb.
God has a heart to revive you woman of His love. He wants your anger, rejection, hurts, sadness and pain, nailed to the cross of Christ.  He will take care of you, sister. His love is for us is unconditional.
“But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much, but even when we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead.
(Ephesians 2:4-5)
“Oh great Redeemer, revive us again, fill our hearts with Your love by the depths of Your unfailing love. May each soul be rekindled with fire from above.” In Jesus Name.

Many of us walk this earth trying to fit like a piece to a puzzle. Why?
I believe it’s because we all struggle with a “need” to fit in. We try to be the person everyone around us wants us to be.
Ladies, you are not created to be an insecure weak woman, you are created to be a strong vessel. One that can stand the rage of any sea. A strong and mighty force that has POWER to do incredible things and withstand unbelievable forces.
We must all confront the deep places in our hearts that scare us. Once we do and it’s revealed that it’s nothing but fear bottled up inside, release those chains that bind you. Let them gooooo! Stop hiding and look at the self-discovery you see through God’s eyes, His eyes of love to you. His love is perfect.
Be candid about your battles and face them with your Savior. Jesus already gave everything.  You don’t have to “fit” into any jigsaw puzzle being a jagged piece and trying to fit into the game others call life.
…”and we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. ( 2 Corinthians 3:18)
You are your own individual creation by God, a masterpiece created a new.  You’re not a “piece” to fit into someone else’s puzzle, be who you are in Christ and who He planned you to be long ago. Ephesians 2:10-Unique and YOU.

Encouraging one another through our personal stories is a large part of who we are at Women World Leaders.
All through scripture, we see how God placed women together in relationships to encourage one another. Just as God sent Mary to Elizabeth and Ruth to Naomi, He continues to place women together for mutual support, love, accountability, and friendship.
Meet Janet Berrong, one of our founding Leaders in WWL’S and  Author in the #1 Best Seller- Tears to Triumph. WWL’S  made this video for our Soul Healing Summit which has encouraged so many lives already.
Although what Janet shares is tragic, the outcome reveals God’s purpose in her life.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
We pray this 7-minute video touches your heart and that you’d share it with those God leads you to share with today.
Possibly God is prompting you to share your own story? Have you considered it? We have many ways and opportunities for you to share the “God story” in your life that only He can guide you to releasing for His glory.

God’s word says,
“For we are God’s masterpiece, created a new in Christ Jesus to do the very good things that He planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10)
Each of us looks in a mirror every single day, or at least I hope we do. How many of us see the masterpiece God created as we stare at ourselves in the mirror? Does the mirror talk back to you or does God talk to you?
Do you believe God’s word as complete truth? It is whether you believe so or not. He told you that you are His masterpiece. Do you believe you are the pinnacle of God’s creation, His joy, His love, His treasure?
You are everything God adores. He is proud of you. No matter what we do in this life, He is continuously reaching His loving hand to us to see ourselves the way He sees us.
God knows your struggles, He feels your ups and downs, He knows when you mourn and when you are trying hard.
God has great plans for you. He says so in His Word. Do you believe there is a great plan of God in yourself?
There is nothing GOD will not do to remind you of His endless love for you-sweet sister.
You are His.
You are beautiful in His sight.
Please walk in the knowledge of Whose you are and fulfill the plans He has in your existence.

Guest writer:
Fatima Eid is our sister, a WWL from Egypt and now serves as a nationwide prayer warrior for the USA! She appreciates her freedom here and so we felt moved to share this from her!
Having just celebrated a holiday in the USA that declares our independence and freedom, once again the Bible is there for us, filled with wise words for expressing the true meaning of the freedoms we celebrate this time of year.
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
“For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”
Out of my distress, I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free.
And I will walk at liberty,
For I seek Your precepts.
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord has anointed me
to preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
As free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice but as bondservants of God.
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
We can rejoice over the fact there are so many scriptures on being “free.” May you experience a whoosh of God’s freedom upon you today as you meditate on His Word.
Who the Son sets free is “free” indeed. (John 8:36)

As adults we try to capture moments of our “childhood purity”, the innocence we once had in our younger years; only to find brokenness and influence of a darkened world.
We look to try to fill the void in our lives and all too often end up more broken than before.
Although we may have learned many good and beautiful things from our parents as children, we also learned detrimental and destructive things as we grew up.
Even if our parents were good to us, they were broken people too. We are all left with a void that only God can fill inside our souls.
God is ready to take your heavy burden, wherever you are and with whatever it is,  and re-learn the lessons in life through His lenses of love.
God is love and with Him in our hearts there is no darkness.
God loved us so much that He GAVE us His Son. A free gift. ( John 3:16)
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
You can run to Him with childlike faith and He will rescue you where you are. Restore the purity of your childlike innocence by allowing the Creator of your soul to forgive you.
“This is love: He loved us long before we loved Him. It was His love, not ours. He proved it by sending His Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins.
(1 John 4:10)
Jesus – our Redeemer, our Savior.

Deb Hogan, WWL Guest Writer
Once again, I find myself sitting at the cancer center waiting for blood work. The waiting room is full of people, but I feel alone. I have a GPS device clipped to my blouse and a wristband stating my name and birthdate. Is this who I have become? A number on a wristband? When the technician calls me, I know I am just one among many patients she will see today. She doesn’t “see” me. She just knows me from my wristband. She doesn’t “know” me. She doesn’t know that I love to sing, enjoy Italian food, and cry at commercials. She doesn’t know that I am sensitive and get hurt easily. But God knows.
We see this character trait of God through the Old Testament story of Hagar in Genesis chapter 16. Sarah, Abraham’s wife, was not getting pregnant even though God had promised that Abraham’s descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky. Sarah decided to take matters into her own hands and gave her maidservant to Abraham. Hagar conceived and this caused division between the two women. “Sarah began to mistreat Hagar and Hagar ran away… The angel of the Lord found her near a spring in the desert, and the angel of the Lord said to her: You are now pregnant, and you will give birth to a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard your misery…Hagar gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: You are the God who sees me.” (Gen. 16:7a, 11, 13a)
Do you feel “seen” today? Do you “know” that God knows you? Psalm 139 outlines God’s complete knowledge of us – adding that God’s thoughts toward us outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore. (Ps 139:17 NIV) Rejoice today that the God of the universe “sees” you! You don’t have to show Him your wristband to jog His memory. He even sees your sin, yet the Bible says, “While we were still sinners Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 NIV) So the next time you feel unseen remember that your name is engraved on the palm of His hand.
You are seen. You are known. You are loved.

Rev. Lisa Morrison, Professor-Guest Writer, Women World Leader from Boston, Massachusetts.
Do you ever wonder if God sees you? Does He see the fountain of tears you’ve shed? Does He see you in your barren wilderness? Does He see you trying to navigate the twists and turns of life? Does God see you?
When I wonder if God sees me, I remember a time when my world had crashed around me, and I was dwelling in the smoldering rubble and reeling from the aftershocks of all that had ensued. My nephew and I were on vacation in Colorado Springs heading up Pike’s Peak on the bright red cog railway. Our seats squared off with the couple across from us. Our knees were practically touching each other.
I was looking for an attention gripping ride up the mount of majesty that had inspired Katherine Lee Bates to write one of the most famous songs in our country’s history, “America the Beautiful,” when God decided He wanted to show me that He saw me.
By the time we rode, ever so slowly 8 mph up and down the 14,110’ snowcapped peak, God had poured His curative balm into my soul through the ministry of the godly woman sitting across from me. She had no inkling of who I was or what I had recently experienced in my life but “somehow” she knew just what to say to speak words of healing to my wounded soul. I was in awe that God knew where I was 2000 miles away from home vacationing on the world’s highest cog railway and that He had arranged for a stranger to minister to my need.
I recognized that out of the 7.9 billion people living on planet Earth God knew exactly where I was. He had not forgotten about me. He saw me.
Our God is the God who sees us! He actually is given this name in Genesis 16:13 by Hagar who has run away from her mistress Sarai because of mistreatment. The Lord finds Hagar in her misery near a spring in the desert and speaks words of promise to her. (vv. 9-12) She then, “… gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her. ‘You are the God who sees me. I have now seen the One who sees me.’” (13)
If you are wondering if God sees you in the midst of feeling unseen, recognize this: no matter how far away from home you are or how far away you run, God is the God who sees you and makes Himself known to you!
