God invites us to share His holiness. He desires that His holiness lives inside of you.
As a daughter of God, our Heavenly Father wants us to be separated from all that’s unholy and allow His holiness to grow inside of us.
“But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all; for it is written, be holy for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:15-16)
Jesus is our greatest example on earth of a holy life in character. He was devoted to God’s will in His life. Shouldn’t we desire the same?
The more we worship God the more we will see His holiness-wholeness-purity and goodness which in turn will help us become holy, pure, whole, and better as the women of God we desire to be.
A woman after God’s own heart… it takes action to be that woman. Is that your desire?
Becoming holy should be a goal for our lives. Of course, we don’t want to wear a holier-than-thou -attitude over others, NO, of course not! But a truly holy-as-God is holy lifestyle is one where we could bless others.
Desiring to become Christ-like is something I pray over for all our dear sisters in this ministry, as well as my own. I ask God to grow that desire without end.
Holy holy holy is the Lord God Almighty. Let us be holy as He is holy. Amen.
When we praise God, it’s one of the means by which God transforms us. Would you agree that when we praise and worship Him, His presence is upon us?
God’s presence changes our hearts and allows the Holy Spirit to soften and mold us into what He wants us to be.
We need to will ourselves to praise and worship God. I find that my flesh is weak and not naturally the first thing I would choose to do while living in my past, but the closer I walk with God-the more I get to know Him-the easier praise becomes and I can’t stop myself from doing it continuously.
God is your rock! God’s works are perfect. God is a good and faithful God. He loves you so much and He is worthy of all your praises. If you desire a transformed life and want to be more like Jesus- Allow God to mold you by praising Him often.
I challenge you to praise Him in the morning when you see the sun rising. Praise Him in the noontime when you feel the pressures coming and praise Him in the evening when you think of all He has done for you throughout the day.
Praising comes easy when you make it a part of your life each day.
Are you steady? Remaining calm and confident, yet consistent can allow us to view our road we must travel ahead, a bit easier. How we respond to what comes our way can mean experiencing more peace in our lives by being consistent and pushing forward with joy.
Steadiness means “firmly fixed or placed; stable in position or equilibrium.
Steady is an important word when it comes to our walk with God in our lives. Not being interrupted by every “squirrel” that may jump in our way. I oftentimes laugh when a specific friend gets off course by yelling out, “squirrel.” We joke about it, but distractions can become time wasters. Distraction may cause us to swerve, taking us off course and into another direction we may not have anticipated.
It’s important to remain steady in God’s word. We live in a world full of sights and sounds. Wobbling about may rob us of the time to finish a task or can even stop us altogether.
God always wants us to be aware of Him. He’s placed goals and dreams in our hearts. He desires steadiness in our walk with Him each day. The apostle Paul says,
“I press tword the mark for the prize if the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:13)
As soon as something grabs your attention, talk to God about it. Don’t vere off the course. Allow God to keep you steady. God will work through you when your heart is steadfast and trusting in the Lord.
Listen to this verse, it’s amazing!
“They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Their hearts are secure; they will have no fear; in the end, they will look in triumph on their foes.” (Psalm 112: 7-8)
Steady your day, balance your weight, your Creator will help you carry your load dear sister as well as achieve your goal. Steady as you go.
Some ways are right, some ways are not. We can not confuse the two. They become very clear and God shows us the way when we seek Him. Obedience is key.
God says when we seek Him, we will find Him. (Jeremiah 29:13) and when we do, He shows us the right way. At that point, we have a choice to make regarding obedience.
When we obey God, we are protected. If we obey God, He will give us the answers we need with His revelation, which allows us to get where we need to go. When we obey God we can be led by Him.
When we obey God, we see answers to our prayers.
The Bible tells us, “receive from Him anything we ask because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him.” (1 John 3:23)
There is a direct correlation between Obedience and prayer. Do you see it?
We obey because we genuinely love God and are grateful to Him for our life. By living in obedience, we will develop a strong desire to have nothing separate us from God. God does not want us to live in the gut-wrenching misery that comes from the absence of obedience to Him.
Ask God if there are specific steps of obedience He wants you to take. He will tell you. Communicate with your Father. Please don’t start your day without prayer.
EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Many of you may be waiting on God right now for answers to specific questions or needs. We want to know what He wants for us, but we can become impatient wanting answers right now. What do we do when He doesn’t answer us?
Many times we pray the prayer again, right? Sometimes we try to forget the need. One of the main reasons we should pray is to give thanks for what we often forget.
We need to remember all God HAS done for us. We tend to ask God for more things before thanking Him for what He’s already given us.
Deciding to be grateful through the tough times takes action. During times we are sad or in despair are the times we need to thank Him. In the good times, give Him thanks, and in the bad, give Him thanks.
The very act of thanking releases your mind from a negative focus. As you turn your attention to God, your problem fades in significance and loses its power to grip you and trip you up by dwelling on it.
By thanking God in the desperate moments, your joy will rise, and your mood will change because you realize you aren’t in control anyways, God is.
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, GIVE THANKS IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES; for this is the will of God in Christ Hesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
I heard this phrase but never referenced it until I felt it necessary to use it in my own life. That’s when I reached for it, saying, “God gave me beauty for ashes.”
I’ve made many mistakes that I’ve grieved over in my life. Often I would repeat a messed upcycle that I thought I never would. Cycles that only continued my grieving process. To others, I may have seemed to snuff my nose at God like I didn’t care, but deep inside, oh how I did. I just lacked the wisdom needed to make better choices.
Through seeing my need for wisdom and praying daily for “Godly wisdom” while reciting James 1:5, God granted me true wisdom over time, and it allowed me to make better choices. I was able to seek Him, sit with Him, grieve with Him, repent before Him and let Him renew my life with the only wisdom I needed-His wisdom.
He brought wisdom to me which then allowed me to make better choices. He promised this would happen. The choices allowed me to turn those ashes of grieving and the repetition of vicious cycles into some of the most beautiful stories I could have ever imagined.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” (James 1:5)
God wants to give you the same exchange. Through your ashes, God will bring great beauty. I can assure you that God knows what to do with any despair.
“He has sent me…to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” (Isaiah 61:1,3)
Remember seek Him first, then sit down with Him. Cast your burdens on Him, tell Him you’re sorry for your mistakes. Ask Him for wisdom. It will give you a fresh mind. You will receive beauty for ashes with all the gladness your heart can hold. I know this to be true because it happened to me.

EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
How often do we judge ourselves? It’s not healthy to judge or evaluate ourselves by comparing ourselves with other people. It can become easy to do in a Facebook/Instagram world.
Each of us are different in how comparing may affect us. Comparing is meaningless. Don’t look for affirmations in the wrong places or for evaluations from others, the only source of real affirmation is the unconditional love God has for us.
Please don’t view God as an angry judge, looking for our faults or failures. God is love. If He disciplines us (and we know when that is), it’s never in anger or disgust. He disciplines in love. It’s only to prepare us to see Him face to face and live in an eternal state with Him.
“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”
We should not condemn ourselves. We should not judge ourselves either.
Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven. (Luke 6:37)
Live this verse out. You are an overcomer. Try speaking truth into someone you love today. It could be the freedom they are searching for and by remembering your words spoken to them, those words may be freeing to you as well.
EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Our lives are no accident. God knows everything about us. To me, it’s such comfort knowing my creator is always watching me.
God knows my thoughts even before I think them. He knows yours too. He knows your actions from the time you get up in the morning until the moments you go to bed. Even when you fall into a sound sleep, God is watching over you.
“You have searched me, Lord and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue, Lord, You know it completely.” (Psalm 139:1-4)
God is everywhere around us. There isn’t anywhere we can go that God isn’t there too. That is a comforting fact to me, I hope it is to you as well. He is with you on your mountain top highs and your valley lows.
You may struggle with the way you look, and sometimes you may not feel good. You may feel like your life is a mistake, but it is not! God formed you and loved you while you were inside your mother.
Your life is not an accident my friend. You have a purpose. God performed a miracle when He created you.
Please believe your purpose is important and you need to be healthy to fill God’s plan for your life. Praise God every day knowing how deeply He loves everything about you. He desires you to be physically and spiritually healthy.
EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
I am now sympathetic to the many ways of women. It’s taken me years of seeking after God’s heart to understand we are each unique and different in our own individual ways. We don’t know what circumstances may cause sometimes “ugly” behavior in others, or behavior we don’t agree without.
I used to be a judgmental person, but learning what it means to be an imperfect believer, walking in fellowship with a Holy God, allowed me to be FREE of judgment.
Confession of my own sin first, removed every obstacle to be FREE of casting judgment on others. Going deep into my own life of sin, cleansed my conscience of speaking out against someone else’s mistakes.
Through tenderhearted confession to God over my sin, the fleshly struggle that may come upon me to cast judgment on another is now immediately turned to empathy for them. I pray for them because of God’s faithfulness to me – shown with forgiving grace, bringing me to restoration and intimacy with Him. This brings about a desire in me instead, to want this for everyone that lives differently than I do. I want them to experience this incredible fellowship with God.
“If we boast that we have no sin, we’re only fooling ourselves and are strangers to the truth.” (1John 1:8)
God’s acceptance was won for anyone who believes in the sacrifice of Christ for their sins.
“But if we freely admit our sins when His light uncovers them, He will be faithful to forgive every time. God is just to forgive us our sins because of Christ, and He will continue to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Do not judge. Our Heavenly Father is our forgiving Redeemer!
This last verse states…” and He will “continue” to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Don’t judge the road someone is walking as a believer. God will work on their heart. God will “continue” as emphasized in this scripture, that He never lets us go if we belong to Him. He will convict the soul. He will “continue” to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. The word “continue” is “key.” God is always working on our hearts. POWERFUL.
“Why would you focus on the flaw in someone else’s life and yet fail to notice the glaring flaws of your own?” ( Matthew 7:3)
Leave others to God. Pray for them privately. You are responsible for you!
EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Did you know there’s a language of God? We must learn His language and draw closer to Him to understand the depths of His Word, but Jesus is the language of God.
I marveled at the change in my life as I learned this truth. When God speaks to me, He does so using the vocabulary of Jesus. I have learned so much from reading the Bible and seeing it point to Him in every way. The life of Jesus speaks to my own life.
Can we truly understand the Bible if we don’t know Jesus personally? I don’t believe so. We find our true life in His presence. I can’t imagine not understanding my heavenly Father, but there was a time that I did not. I was left to my own thoughts and desires. That did not end up well for me.
When I developed a spiritual hunger, I was able to embrace truth, embrace the love of Jesus which was and is God’s love language to me. God will help you!
Go before the mercy -throne as I did with boldness. It’s there you will receive enough grace to empower you through any difficulty. With tears in my eyes, I encourage you to learn God’s language through His Son Jesus and live out with passion, a language of love provided by God, by the grace of Jesus, our Messiah.
“For You have placed everything under His authority.
This means that God has left nothing outside the control of His Son, even if presently we have yet to see this accomplished. But we see Jesus, who is a man, lived for a short time, lower than the angels, and has now been crowned with glorious honor because of what He suffered in His death. For it is by God’s grace that He experienced death’s bitterness on behalf of everyone!” ( Hebrews 2:8-9)
Jesus is undoubtedly God’s love language to us.
