…ooooo rejection hurts. It is mad, crazy painful! It can feel like being stabbed multiple times in the heart leaving us in a pool of blood lying on the floor. One anonymous author wrote, “There is no pain greater than rejection.”
The deeper we love the deeper we feel the pain of rejection. If our spouse, a parent, child, or BFF rejects us we feel acute pain. The reason rejection hurts so much is because something or someone matters to us.
I experienced the ravaging pain of rejection from one of my dearest loved ones. My heart was not only pierced but it was shredded to pieces. My wrenching pain turned into a raging inferno of anger that needed a channel of release. Fortunately for me, I was spending the week alone somewhere and doing some work for my family member where I could scream, cry and thrash about seeking to release some of my raw pent-up anguish.
Not only did my loved one inflict the pain of rejection upon me, but she also then wanted me to walk with her through one of the most significant events of her life as if nothing had happened.
I learned two personal insights about our relationship with God as I journeyed through this heart-wrenching experience.
First, I used a lifeline and phoned a friend to gain perspective. As my dear friend listened, she stared at me speechless. She then thoughtfully said, “It is only because your love is so great that you can put your own pain aside to walk through this event with your loved one. This reminds me of Jesus being rejected by the ones He loved. He experienced the agony of rejection, and yet out of His great love for them, He chose to lay His life down – for them.”
Second, because of my bleeding heart, I didn’t want to speak to my loved one. It was just too painful. Yet, at the same time, because of my great love for her, I did want to speak to her. I wanted a restored relationship with her. I realized as hurt as I was, I couldn’t walk away and let the relationship go. I loved her too much. The struggle was real. I came to realize this is how God sees us. His love is unconditional. It is deep. It will never let us go. Even though we hurt Him by rejecting Him or sinning against Him, He still wants a relationship with us. If even a modicum of communication is taking place hope exists for a relationship. No matter how much pain we have caused Him, He loves us too much to let the relationship go.
This rejection has been mad, crazy painful, yet I’ve discovered my love runs deeper. I am grateful that through this I have a newfound understanding of God’s great love for us. His love runs deeper than any rejection we have inflicted upon Him. May we each experience that with our God no matter how much pain we have caused Him, His love runs deeper, and He always wants a relationship with us.

Today’s guest writer: Laurie Sammarco, Pembroke Pines, Florida.
(2 Chronicles 16:9)
“For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.”
Our bodies can grow tired, our minds can give way to defeat and our hopes can weaken by the many trials we face but just one word from the Lord can exchange those thoughts. You can reclaim your victory in the Lord. He has the power to strengthen and bring about results that can change your perspective. All that is taken is given back tenfold. Nothing is bleak in the eyes of the Lord for His hands have brought about perfection in everything He touches.
We may ask “How much more Lord?” and He responds by giving His all. He wants to see you give Him as much as He’s given. By giving your all, submitting all your fears, mistakes, hurts, and trials, He, in turn, shifts the patterns of destruction to those of miraculous change.
Tired of fighting those inner offensive thoughts, those insecurities that drown you in sorrow, those inadequate feelings of unworthiness?, well- get mad! Pick up the armor of God and fight the battle in God’s strength dear one. Don’t give in to the standards of this world. Hold on to the rod and staff of the Lord that provides rest, security in your every step, and guidance throughout the hardest of trials.
Never has there been a battle more worthy of fighting than that which saves the soul from being forsaken. God will redeem you and give you the courage and durability to focus your thoughts on Him and the power that radiates from Him. Lean on Him, trust in Him, seek His face, and don’t give up! God will bless you as you commit yourself to Him.

When the enemy comes and throws a lie your way, you can pretty much know the opposite is true.
We face lies every day when we interact with the world. when you stand hearing these lies- Combat them with God’s truth!
Here are some truths that counter what the enemy throws at you… these will hopefully encourage you.
If the enemy tells you “Your worthless”:
Lie…”If you keep moving forward, I’ll attack you on every side!”
Lie: “Your worst fears are about to come true!”
Lie: “Your breakthrough will never come”:
Lie: “No one likes you!”
Say this with the AUTHORITY God has given you:
“Enemy, even when your lies feel true, GODS WORD IS TRUE, AND I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE HIM OVER YOU!”
Please say this out loud and believe it:
“God has me, God has me, God has me and He has everything about me in His caring, compassionate heart and I’m wrapped around His loving finger because I’m His daughter and He is my Father. I’m the daughter of the Most High God whom I love.  I need not fear anything because His rod and staff comforts me.”
Psalm 23…I claim it all in Jesus’ Name!

How much do we consider the health of our hearts? I think about it often since heart issues run on both sides of my family tree. However, the heart health issues I am speaking of today are our “inner hearts.”
” But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” ( 1 Samuel 16:7)
Isn’t it comforting to know that God does not judge us in the same way other people judge us, or even in the harsh way we sometimes judge ourselves? God is concerned with what is inside our hearts.
God doesn’t place value on our outward looks or where we rank on social media, our financial status, or any other external things the world may consider important.
As I listened to my Bible app this morning, God said David was a man after God’s own heart. David’s social status within his family was so low that he wasn’t even called in from the fields to meet with Samuel. But David was God’s choice to become king over Israel, and from his family line, we’d see a Savior that God would provide to us!
God didn’t see David the way his own family saw him, remember this.
Sometimes others don’t see you the way God sees you. God is always looking at your heart’s attitude. He knows your thoughts dear one, He knows your motives. He knows it all.
I examine my heart as often as I think about it, which is daily. It’s part of my prayer time with the Lord. Are my motives right? Is God able to use my heart to help others today? I, for one, know if God can use a young shepherd like David, he can most definitely use me or any of us in a big way, a mighty way just as He used David.
We need to make our hearts available to God’s power to see what amazing things He can and will do through us.
I feel the need to share my life verse yet again. I hope you’ll take time to look it up in different versions.. Today’s version is the NIV.
” Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:20)

Today’s monologue devotional is brought to you and spoken by Donna Clare from the United Kingdom.
Listen below on the link and hear the biblical story come alive in your mind as Donna shares. It’s very inspirational.
What you are about to listen to is a monologue to sure the heart of a woman –
It’s about Mary of Bethany as in John’s Gospel who gave her everything for Jesus because of all He had done for her.
It is about being fixed on Jesus and giving Him your all in worship no matter what is going on around you or what others may think.  He is worthy and He deserves all our praises! May this bless your hearts in Jesus today.

We give the enemy opportunity to trip us up again and again when we refuse to deal with our fears and insecurities. Often we walk around with the weight of the world on our shoulders and it is obvious to others, but do we really need to do this?
We miss out on the redemptive life when we shove our fears below the surface and put on a fake smile. Yes, we can carry weight and burdens but God tells us to cast our cares on Him, do you listen and give your worries to Jesus?
We learn at a young age to cover up our imperfections. The problem is, there’s not enough makeup in the world to make us whole. We can put a bandaid on boo boo’s to somewhat fix them temporarily or even hide the wound- but the wound is still there, only hidden… underneath it’s still there and most likely so is the pain.
If we really want to know true beauty, if we really want to live full and free lives, we have to give God access to those places we work so hard to cover up. Are you covering up a wound, acting as if life is grand? Think about it.
Be real with God.
Be vulnerable with others.
 We are all human together.
Mistakes happen, hurts come, doubts and fears can settle upon us, issues raise their ugly heads often, but don’t give in to carrying it all alone.
When the weight is heavy God says what???
“Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” ( 1 Peter 5:7)
Don’t let go of this scripture. Hide it in your heart and give it ALL to Jesus in your prayer time. Amen.

So many of our Women World Leaders are in continuous grief in their lives. Their prayer requests are for deep “loss” within. We see it, we hear about it and we feel for them.
There is hope.
God’s healing in grief is “tender” and it’s “intentional.”
When you have nothing left, no strength of your own, God will come close and lie next to you. He is the only one who can absorb your pain.
God watched His own Son die and knows the anguish that you are experiencing and He is able to heal your anguish but you must come to Him and trust Him.
God can ever so gently, with compassion and unexplainable power, whisper words to you that you will most definitely feel. This will happen as you invite Him in close to you. Communicate with God.
Trust Him, listen for Him, and listen for His Words of hope because they are there. They are in the stillness, the quiet place of His Word. He has a plan for you.
Drench yourself into God’s Word and let His true love for you become your song. You can do this. He can lift you from your heaviness and replace your agony and emptiness with the same power that rose Jesus from the grave, but you must trust Him to do this. Please go within His Holy Word for your help. Over and over as long as it takes, HE WILL COMFORT YOU THERE.
If grief has stolen your joy, and soreness has robbed your freedom, please pray to God in your weakness and then ask Him to hold you, heal you and lift the pain from your heart.
Do this every time you hurt. If you pray all day, so be it, then pray all day to your Father in heaven who hears every word you utter! He wants to hear all your words all day long! It is called a relationship. Grow your relationship with the One who can work miracles in you. You talk with whom you are involved with, right? Talk to Him.
Talk and talk and talk to God each day. Then read and read and read His Word. God will answer your cry while you are grieving, look to Him and stay there.
” Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest.” ( Matthew 11:28)
God will meet you where you are.

The high destiny of the individual is to serve rather than to rule.   -Albert Einstein
Esther 4:16 reveals a crossroads we must all face. Would Esther respond to the call of God to do something significant in her life? This had made me think hard about serving the Lord vs looking for something significant that will be noticed only by humanity.
Think back on your life’s journey for a defining moment. Has this led you to a breakthrough in your identity? Did this breakthrough glorify God moving forward with your life?
We all have stories about our life, don’t we? God has definitely been there time and time again to pick you up where you are and guess what, He’ll do it again. Again and again, God doesn’t give up on us, ever! He is faithful to completion. He has a story breathed in you that is waiting to blossom to glorify Himself. Are you saying “yes Lord, here I am, send me”… as Isaiah said?
Identify the choices you make and how they can have a great effect on the lives of many. Your testimony of faith, or overcoming obstacles or challenges can impress hope and healing to others.
I truly believe God is awakening women, I’m seeing it all around me and throughout this ministry.
He is calling us to a much greater purpose in serving others than in self-fulfillment. He is longing for you to serve Him wholeheartedly.  Give Him your all, not just a finger or a toe.
Look for an awakening in your heart, a story to share with the world and then use it.  Ask God for your next assignment of serving Him.

God’s word tells us many times that perseverance, while it may not be fun, is good for us… I’ll describe perseverance as “the ability to see a problem or a situation through to its resolution despite difficulties faced along the way.”
It’s not hard to persevere when things go your way, but when the road becomes rocky, we need strength to continue through the rough terrain.
God’s word says,…” suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope.” (Romans 5:3-4)
Hope can drive anyone a far distance, don’t you agree?
In Hebrews 12:1, we are commanded to stay the course God puts us on.
“And let us run with perseverance  the race marked out for us.” (Hebrews 12:1)
We know that the enemy can try to wear us down or discourage us while we’re trying to move forward.  If this applies to you, ask God to help you stand firm until the enemy is defeated,  whichever way he is attacking you.
The enemy could be attacking your mind with doubts about your abilities to do something huge, or you could be experiencing sickness or disease in your physical body.
The enemy can attack our decision to accomplish something that may reap benefits for others in the name of Jesus.
Whatever it may be, ask God for strength to see you through each of the circumstances you are faced with.
David never stopped until the job was finished,  and neither should we. We should pray until we receive an answer. Go forward, press on, YOU CAN DO THIS.
This is for YOU!
When we persevere in prayer, it allows God’s POWER  to flow through us so we can withstand whatever pressures are coming our way.
Remember, with God, you can eliminate issues that come your way, and while God assists you, He gives you the perseverance to attain the result. That very result may change the world you live in right now. Never underestimate the POWER of God or the strength only He can give to persevere.
God is with YOU, and with Him arming you with strength, you will push forward. You will have victory.
